** The 2014 US Open Final will mark the first time since 2005 Australian Open Final (Marat Safin def. Lleyton Hewitt) that neither Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal nor Novak Djokovic will feature in a Grand Slam final.
During his match with Djokovic, Nishikori bounced his racket off of the court, AND WITHOUT LOOKING, caught it behind his back.
Did he mean to do that? Does he practice doing that? Can he do it at will? Was telekinesis or sorcery involved?
Kei actually does a lot of racquet flips (which always amazes me seems like he can do some crazy shit with it) he just does it without even looking. He’s a magician on the court.
I remember how before the US Open start (and even during the tournament), the press, the comments, the predictions, etc was about Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov as the young guns with the surprise in their hands (and this kind of stuff), literally nobody said anything about Kei…
All of this, so much.
